Love yourself too much,
And you‘ll be seen as 1)a big-head.
Don‘t love yourself enough,
And you‘ll be seen as 2)introverted.

Do you love yourself "just right",
Whatever that may be?
Are you confident but not full of yourself,
Not 3)plagued with 4)vanity?

It‘s good to feel good about yourself,
It‘s good to feel good about someone else.
What‘s bad to you might seem good to me,
Who‘s to say what‘s really right, ultimately?

Nobody‘s all bad, nobody‘s all good,
If you don‘t love yourself, then maybe you should.
They say that if you don‘t love yourself,
Neither will anyone else.

I say do what you will,
Go with what you feel.
Love always starts from within,
No matter what causes the feeling.

Simple Things简单的快乐

无 Simple things are lovely things.
Rain, dropping from the 1)eaves,
Is 2)molten silver streaming down,
Upon the fallen leaves.
The thick, gray 3)mantle of the fog,
Hides everything from view.
Footsteps make a hollow sound,
When they‘re unseen by you.

The echo of a horse‘s 4)hoof,
Upon the 5)cobblestone,
Beats like a strange, 6)erratic pulse,
Within my heart alone.
A quiet hour on the sand,
When all the tide is out,
Brings with it something deeper,
Than I care to talk about.

Shafts of sunlight through the trees,
That grow upon a hill,
The first green shoots above the ground,
Though winter 7)lingers still.
Simple things are lovely things,
We need no wealth to share.
The 8)monotone of nature‘s soul
That 9)whispers everywhere!
